 Ümit Tuncer ERSOY EXPERTISE Banking and capital markets, commercial, corporate and contract law matters, litigation, dispute resolution, project finance, labor law. Ümit Tuncer ERSOY has been heavily involved in all banking transaction, corporate and business matters, mergers and acquisitions, dispute resolution. As Director at Fortis Bank Turkey, he led both consultancy and litigation team and handle the international projects of the Bank. He also manages the relationship between the Bank and governmental bodies and regulators. As the Group President at Banking Regulation and Supervising Agency-Saving Deposits and Insurance Fund, Ümit Tuncer ERSOY led 550 contracted lawyers of the 22 Banks controlled by BRSA(BDDK) and SDIF(TMSF) all over the Turkey and also managed 25 in-house lawyers and paralegals. At the BRSA and SDIF he has been involved in serious projects regarding the 22 different banks controlled by BRSA and SDIF. He handled major cases against the former stake holders of the banks and also acted as the key staff of SDIF during the negotiations between the parties.
